Whoever said bars were where you went to get into fights clearly hasn't met anyone who frequents the United World Bar.

History of the UWB

During the first war between Arolatera and the Corsevemas, many different races and people were united on one side of the field. Longtime foes such as the Nmidri and the Ikillva now stood as allies along the harbor and the barren land it bled into. These were times where not even ancient feuds and disagreements mattered. This is where the vision for the United World Bar was born.

When the Arolateran forces drove the Corsevemas from their lands, lasting friendships had bloomed between many of the troops who had allied together in the name of justice. As they recovered from their battles and prepared to depart for homes, several of each race turned to the setting sun as it fell beneath the horizon, far beyond the freshwater harbor. One of the Virikais and the Gletrivans walked down to the water, admiring how it shone in the dimming orange glow of the sun. They turned to the rest of the troops who had stayed behind and proposed they create a whole new region of Arolatera. One where rivaling species could unite in times that were not just to protect the whole of the world, but at any and all times. There was a discussion, and before long, an agreement that shook the world.

The group of twelve - two Virikais, three Gletrivans, two Ikillvas, two Nmidris, a Splitsoul Zekaana, an Ashvari, and a Covalovian wanderer who had aided them in battle - spent the next four weeks gathering supplies, planning, digging, and building. After one month of hard work using leftover supplies from the war, the group had transformed the battered-down War Headquarters into a quaint bar that had lodged itself partially underground. With a stairway that descended beneath the roads that led to the bar's door, this bar served as a place where Arolaterans of all type could unite. Discrimination against omens, corrupted Arolaterans, and even the Covamirans and Caralovians was forbidden. Starting from the day of the bar's conception, its staff has always included people from every species, even if it wasn't a true Arolateran.

To this day, the bar stands. With mild additions such as a gated secondary stairway for transforming Arolaterans to avoid foot traffic, or an in-progress second underlevel, the philosophy of the bar remains the same. Everyone is allowed, regardless of their origin, identity, or preference. This is the place where people go to get a drink, make friends, and overall enjoy their lives.
